Travels

John has travelled extensively throughout Eastern and Southern Africa, recently returning from a trip to Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana where he was lucky enough to see a pack of wild dog at their den, in Zimbabwe's Mana Pools National Park.

Other highlights included seeing hundreds of elephant on the Chobe river front in Botswana and numerous prides of lion.

Due to his knowledge of Africa John has also worked as a safari guide in Southern Africa for Nomad African Travel.

Closer to home John makes regular painting trips to Cornwall and the Cornish coast. Later this year John hopes to return to India and travel and paint in Kerela.
