Travels

Over the last 20 years John has travelled extensively in Eastern and Southern Africa. He has spent time watching elephants by the river Chobe in Botswana, tracking wild dogs in Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park and bush walking in Zambia’s Luangwa valley. He has also worked as a safari guide in Zambia ,Botswana and Namibia, for Nomad African Travel based in Livingstone Zambia.

Recently he has returned from India where he watched and sketched Tigers in Bandhavgarh and Kanha National parks and in the mangrove swamps of the Sunderbaans.
Nearer to home John makes regular painting trips to the Cornish coast.
